MCS offers a variety of after school activities for students in the Primary and Elementary programs. Primary students can join art classes offered once a week by Abrakadoodle.
At the Lower Elementary level (ages 6 - 9), students are invited to participate in additional after school activities including: jazz, chess club, and art class. Our chess club regularly attends tournaments and competes with other local, independent, and public school teams and has traditionally placed well. Jazz club gives evening performances at the school twice a year.
Upper Elementary students (ages 9 - 12) are also invited to join the school soccer team. They practice once a week and compete against local elementary schools on Fridays. Upper Elementary students may also participate in volleyball on Thursdays.
For Middle school students, we offer a Study Hall from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday to facilitate homework discipline. The emphasis is on being an aid to effective study. Students are also welcome to join in volleyball after school on Thursday.
